 SANTA FE BELLISSIMO V was named Top Ten (3^rd) with Wendy Griffith Potts in the highly competitive 2022 Scottsdale Signature Stallion Hunter Pleasure Futurity, his first time shown.  He is tall, substantial, handsome, and willing, with beautiful movement and tons of chrome.  This young horse will make an outstanding National-level Open and/or Amateur hunter horse.  

 His sire is Om El Bellissimo, heir of the *El Shaklan legacy, who follows in the footsteps of a long line of illustrious and world-famous sires at Om El Arab International.  Om El Bellissimo returned from two years of breeding at the world-famous Polish State Stud Janow Podlaski in 2011, and he is beloved and admired by breeders around the world for his extreme type, size, and scope. 

 Santa Fe Bellissimo is out of the Varian Broodmare Hall of Fame mare Sweet Caroline V (Besson Carol x Sweet Shalimar V), the dam of 4 Champions and 2 National Hunter Pleasure winners, including San Carlos Jullyen V and Santa Cruz Jullyen V.  Sweet Caroline is a stunningly beautiful and substantial mare with excellent type, movement, and stature with the classic Varian lineage disposition.
